Unter Mordverdacht stehen eine trauernde Witwe und ihr Lover. Um an das Geld zweier Lebensversicherungen zu kommen, ließ sie ihren Mann einfach verbrennen. So lautet jedenfalls der Verdacht.
Ende September 2006 wurde die verbrannte Leiche in Ternitz von der Polizei gefunden. Bei der Leiche handelte es sich um einen türkischen Arbeiter (36). Des Weiteren fand sie ein Feuerzeug und einen Benzinkanister neben der Leiche. Eineinhalb Jahre lang wurde dieser Vorfall als Selbstmord abgestempelt.
Doch ein anonymer Brief brachte neues Licht in die Ermittlungen und belastet nun die Ehefrau des toten Mannes schwer. Polizeiermittlungen ergaben, dass die Frau damals dem brennenden Mann nicht zu Hilfe kam und ihn verbrennen ließ.
